Development Process
- •Tauri uses your system’s native webview (WebKit on macOS, WebView2 on Windows, WebKitGTK on Linux) rather than bundling Chromium. The result: smaller binaries, lower memory usage, and a native feel. The backend is Rust, utilizing a Cargo workspace with eight specialized crates.
- •The frontend is React 19 + TypeScript + Tailwind CSS 4, built with Vite 7 and managed by Zustand.
