Bondi Press is a GUI tool that converts Microsoft Publisher documents to PDF or any other format. It uses the Microsoft Publisher API to extract the document content and convert it to PDF using the PDFSharp library & LibreOffice.

Development Process
- •Shelled out to the Microsoft Publisher COM API to extract document content from every format back to Publisher 98.
- •Wrapped the conversion pipeline in Go, using PDFSharp and LibreOffice to export to PDF, Word, or images.
- •Built the UI with Wails, Go + TypeScript, Tailwind CSS — a frameless desktop widget that stays out of the way.
- •Kept it fully local and free: nothing to install beyond the app, nothing to host, nothing to pay for.
