Designed new landing page and email templates. For the purpose of curating a more aesthetic user interface and experience that matches the profile of the association.

Tech Stack

  • adobe illustrator
  • figma
  • typescript
  • tailwindcss

Key Attributes

  • Custom made designs and patterns made available by my fellow designer, Aïda
  • Donation collection routes
  • User sign-in and sign up

Development Process

  • The first task was rebranding email templates using AMEJA custom patterns and color palettes.
  • Once we figured the email templates out, I began designing a skeleton template for how the web UI/UX will display.
  • Landing page was based on journalism websites similar to NY Times and other big associations.
  • I ensured that the landing page is available and responsive across all screen sizes.

Core Features

  • We wanted to give AMEJA a rebrand to make their digital experience feel more catered towards journalists, while also paying homage to the essence of their brand.

How this project really played out?

  • Aïda and I were meeting frequently to discuss different branding elements that needed to be present.
  • She designed branded elements and patterns for me to utilize, that matched the new AMEJA color palette.
  • Everything was built and designed through Figma.
  • I took the figma design and built a react version of it to demo the numerous pages living on the website.
  • Once every design element was agreed on and finalized, I exported my design files from figma to Aïda and the AMEJA team; the website is live now!
